Case Study:

Our clients, a young professional couple, who mostly works from home and values a clean, organized, and inspiring space, were looking to enjoy modern aesthetics, minimalism, and incorporate natural elements into their living space.

They recently moved into their studio apartment in the heart of Ashrafieh district in Beirut with a desire for a functional and pleasing space. Their request was to create a calming atmosphere that fosters creativity and relaxation with a design reflecting their personality and lifestyle, incorporating ample storage solutions, a dedicated workspace, and a cozy area for gathering and relaxation.

Arch & arts concept revolved around creating a multifunctional space that exudes modern simplicity while integrating elements of nature and sustainable materials. The aim was to utilize a neutral color palette with pops of earthy tones, combined with plenty of natural light and greenery to infuse the space with a sense of tranquility and inspiration.

The studio layout was divided into distinct zones to delineate living, working, and relaxation areas. A loft bed was incorporated to optimize floor space, with storage compartments built underneath.

The color palette was kept neat. Walls painted in a light, warm white shade to create an impression of spaciousness, while accents of soft earthy tones like light browns, greens, and blues were added through textiles and accessories to bring in a touch of nature.

Custom-built storage units and multi-functional furniture, such as a foldable tables, wall-mounted shelves, and built-in cabinets, were strategically placed to maximize storage without cluttering the space.
Sustainable materials like bamboo, reclaimed wood, and organic fabrics were used for furniture, flooring, and textiles to promote an eco-friendly environment.

Additionally, many carefully selected decorative elements, such wall arts featuring nature-inspired motifs, potted plants, and a few carefully curated personal artifacts, were scattered to create visual interest without overwhelming the space.

A combination of ambient and task lighting, including pendant lights, floor lamps, and dimmable LED fixtures, were placed to create a warm and inviting ambiance while ensuring ample illumination for different activities.

The final outcome, fully implemented by Arch & arts craftsmen, was a modern and functional studio that caters to the couple’s lifestyle and visual preferences. The space felt open, organized, and welcoming, promoting productivity, relaxation, and a subtle connection with the city.

With its sustainable design elements and efficient use of space, the studio will not only reflect personality but also contribute to the overall well-being of the owners.

Arch & arts’ design & execution teams were thrilled to work on this apartment located at Jounieh’s direct surroundings.

Case Study:

The aim was to redraw the different areas of the residence into designs that would maximize the sense of spaciousness and establish a modern and sleek interior to provide a comfortable living space suited with the lifestyle of the customers.

We proposed an open-concept design that would connect the living, dining, and kitchen areas. We planned a minimalist design approach with neutral colors and simple lines to create an atmosphere of calmness and serenity.

The execution team was then fully devoted to implement the proposal using the finest materials & fixtures.

This flooring material was selected for durability, easy maintenance, and modern look.

The reception areas were furnished with comfortable sofas,  coffee tables and trends with a color scheme that was kept impartial with shades of grey, white, and black. The accent chair added a pop of color with a bright mustard glow that created a focal point in the room.

The upholstery consisted of black leather to create a clean and sophisticated look.

The kitchen area was designed with a discreet approach. The cabinetry was finished in a matte white color, and the countertop was made of quartz to create a seamless and clean look. It was eventually equipped with modern appliances integrated into the cabinetry to provide a clutter-free look.

The Master bedrooms was thought to provide a comfortable and relaxing space furnished with a king-sized bed, bedside tables, and a dresser. The color scheme for the bedroom was kept under shades of grey and beige. The accent wall behind the bed was finished with a textured wallpaper that added depth to the space.

The completed modern interior design project created a beautiful and functional space for the clients. The open-concept design allowed for natural light to flood into the living space, creating a bright and airy feel. The minimalist approach created a sense of calmness and serenity, which was essential for a neat modern living. Arch & arts’ design reflected the clients’ tastes and lifestyle.

Arch & arts tackled this family duplex home with extensive refurbishment and restoration values.

Case Study:

We always say that the entrance to a home is the handshake of the area. It’s within this metaphorical outlook that the centerpiece introduces and runs through the house. Geometric rhythms were the focal influences to renovate the different areas.

High-contrast colors and shapes were deliberately used with some textured blackened wood and white tiles to create energy and interest. The true, clean lines of the different zones intersecting with fresh ambient & artificial lights form a strong and dynamic interface to increase the volumes in the different parts of the residence while adding a stylish contemporary zing.

The essential part of our architectural ID work was extending the footprint of the house wherever it was feasible (balconies, gardens…). Pocket doors were added to allow the space to be open when needed and closed away for the rest of the day. The pattern of colors chosen was kept pretty bright with a few twists to add privacy and shade when needed

The several rooms of the house were jam-packed with resolutely geometric furniture, nonetheless on the first floor in the main entertaining area the shapes of the furniture are curvaceous and inviting. The fixtures combined the three principles of being practical, atmospheric and elegant.

Arch & arts latest interior design project of a modern residence located in Beit-Meri. Lifestyle exclusively created by Arch & arts.

Case Study:

This new apartment in the outskirts of Beit-Meri had high potentials and needed a touch of contemporary functionalities; open space, sunlight, a centralized kitchen “hub,” a trendy dining room, an inviting reception area and as much storage as physically possible.  From this early programming, we were able to transmute the existing space and design a full catchy habitation.

The design development process consisted on primarily setting a practical floor plan and to begin fleshing out all of the components of the design, from cabinetry details to actual selections of lighting, colors, fixtures and furniture.  With loads of visual communication, we ensure our client understands our design concepts as well as what the finished product will look like, using 3d tools and Photoshop to illustrate design options and the strength points of our approach.

All the areas of the apartment were carefully adjusted to fit within the entire model with a special focus on taking advantage of the sunlight and the ample space the apartment floor had to offer.

Subsequently special lighting and accessories were added all along as well distinctive furnishings were scattered to the different parts of the house.

The finished product, thoughtfully designed for size, function, proportion and aesthetics, went together seamlessly and ultimately nothing was more exciting to us than transforming the lives of our clients!

Arch & arts latest interior design project of a modern loft residence located in Mansourieh. Lifestyle exclusively created by Arch & arts.

Case Study:

This artist’s loft located at the higher floors of a multi-story building in Mansourieh in a somewhat greenery area was looking for an extreme makeover. The premise was quite old (built in the 60s) and did not make proper use of the footprint area. Furthermore, massive structural elements were identified as few of the major challenges we had to solve. This, however, minded not the decision to embrace a completely modern facet for the loft.

Since it was primarily a working space, we eliminated the bedrooms, so some decent additional working and gathering space was generated.

The remodeling road map we proposed was essentially based on simple elements.

The material palette was mainly borrowed from the owners’ lifestyle codes. With a pronounced reliance on smoked oak & teak wood throughout the living & working zones.

Furniture was kept minimalistic to keep up with the loft essence and was carefully chosen to best fit each space and utility.

Modular kitchen replicated the wood materials with ample space for sitting and accommodating many folks for dining.

The loft integrated a vast office area with large desk and library combined in wood and metal.

The colors palette was understandably kept simple. In contrast with the dark wood that was the predominant color we conceived a fresh and colorful pattern for the walls, floors & ceilings.

As typical in our projects we exploited a wide array of modern lighting fixtures to brighten the loft sections, creating a nice game of shadows at nights while providing the needed amount of light for work during the days.

The final design was a fresh embellish for a modern loft living.

Case Study:

Most of the times an unpretentious design is the best solution. It’s under this dictum that we tackled this interior design project in a comfortable apartment in Zouk Mikael.

Again, a lot of careful planning and design work was initiated to create the feeling of calm and simplicity in the final interior.  And as always we were likewise thinking about functionality.

The different rooms were  designed so that they would feel spacious and without bold obstructions at eye level.

Ceiling lights were scattered around to create a nice game of shadow within the different areas. However, without excess to maintain an affinity of general lighting that should also be highly efficient, providing the perfect task lighting for living in an artful and attractive way.

In the main reception area, we used natural materials within the somewhat lengthy space.  Interacting with natural materials always helps achieve a perfect sense of wellbeing.  The chosen modern furniture was a critical part in exposing the beauty and coloring of the area. To enrich this look and feel we ensured to be decidedly practical and focused on maintaining distances, thus keeping the area breathable and comfy to live in.

On another hand the main bedroom wad filled with many details, and required a lot of thoughts and drills.  The target was to create a charming and enjoyable interior space full of all sensibleness and amenities without sacrificing the atmosphere. The owners obviously enjoyed the final result and the lovely space feels.

Arch & arts latest interior design project of a modern residence in Yarzeh. Lifestyle exclusively created by Arch & arts.

Case Study:

The owner of the apartment, an ancient acquaintance of Arch & arts, made it clear that he subscribes to the notion that less is more. So when it came to design his newly acquired apartment in the heart of the greenery Yarzeh area, Arch & arts adhered to a style that is grounded in simplicity. Ultimately, we applied a simple home design that leads to ease of living.

This philosophy underlies all of the aspects of this project. So we worked closely with the owner to enforce an elegant and comfortable abode that capitalizes on its bucolic surroundings; the open kitchen and adjacent reception/dining rooms exemplify the team’s success.

The building is located on a small cliff, so retaining unimpeded views was a particularly high priority. The somewhat lengthy reception area and adjacent kitchen are flanked by large windows and doors, making the outside lighting reflections abundant during day & night.

To delineate the kitchen and reception area, which share a decent open space, we installed a gypsum-based bright false-ceiling over the kitchen area and applied a concrete grey color for the rest of the reception area ceilings. The kitchen boasts stylish cabinetry and marble counters with rustic seating stools. The kitchen area opens to a small dining nook where a simplistic table is artfully paired with lively chairs. The aim was to implement a kitchen & dining area combination that beautifully displays the simplistic tones of the whole.

The reception area was filled with modern furniture and wood coffee table. A catchy salmon colored reading chair was added near the small and cozy fireplace. The final composition created simple, soft lines with an evident touch of modernity.

The residence implies a restful area for the owner, in conformity with the initially set goal.

Case Study:

The somewhat ancient apartment, located in the heart of Ashrafieh, had an inherent old world style that needed to be deeply redesigned into something completely new.

Loving the design with fresh conceptual ideas, we sketched out schemes for the whole spaces that would represent a modernized version of the residence.

Given the somewhat restrain space that was available, we customized the living areas with symbols that would anchor the family into a modern day life, with ample cheerful colors that would just melt into the redesign story.

It’s in that spirit, that each piece of the rooms deeply resonated on a visceral level, including the custom trends & accessories that brought the concept together.

To establish a sense of family togetherness while still expressing the dynamic creativity of urban life, a special attention was paid to furniture and seating configurations that encourage communication, unity, and warmth; as well as a thoughtful use of art murals and family photographs to institute and maintain a sense of identity.

One additional layer of the redesign was to implement an organized system where each family member had a place to land their clutter as they entered the space.

This newly created system of organization alongside an extensive use of a lot of ingenuity, shaped a stylish feel throughout the house that would tie the rooms together.

The end result is a home that makes both residents & guests happy and inspired, with places for everyone to feel grateful and at peace.

Case Study:

This apartment located in the renowned area of Jnah, Beirut city is in a league of its own. With very spacious areas (a total of 450m2), the owners needed a remodeling that offers a stunning ambiance and an uncompromising modern lifestyle, thus we embarked to create interiors that reflects the epitome of luxurious design.

Every room makes a statement: from the gorgeous kitchen, to the exquisite bathrooms and congenial bedrooms we did institute an elegant design stamp in every space.

It took imagination, painstaking research, experience and a mix of talent and hard work to bring this ambitious creative vision to life.

The result of our work was an arrangement of an inspiring, interior architecture, specifications and other unique features that make a stand.

In every way the design of the areas demonstrates what a lavish space can look like. The interior is bespoke with architectural detailing at its very best. Everything from the furniture to the lighting has been carefully thought through to create a stylish and cohesive home.

This statement sums up our whole approach to design. Ever room of the apartment was given a unique look with uncompromised quality that flows throughout.

Above all, however, it’s a very liveable home. The ambiance is warm, welcoming and universally appealing.
